Peanut Butter Krispy Bars

Rice Krispy treats are always a favorite at my house.
But I was wanting something different to make. For some reason, I can never get the marshmallow consistency just right...I'm not sure why. I think I must just be crazy or something :)
So when one of my daycare kiddos wasn't getting full after school the other day, I needed to whip up a snack quickly. He went through two Uncrustables in no time flat!
I browsed my cupboards and remembered my Grandma made this for me before and thought I'd give it a shot.
The results?
Ummm...well the kids devoured them! (I might have had one...or two...)

Peanut Butter Krispy Bars

1 cup light corn syrup
1/2 cup brown sugar
1/2 cup sugar
1 3/4 cups creamy peanut butter
4 cups crispy cereal

Line a 9x13 baking dish with wax paper.
In a saucepan combine corn syrup and sugars; bring to a boil for a minute or two.
Quickly mix in peanut butter until melted.
Stir in crispy cereal.
Pour into baking dish and even out.
Let cool a few minutes before cutting (we ate them while warm a little and they were great!)
