Monster Munch

Hello October!!
I got this quick and easy recipe from a lady I used to work with who always made it around Halloween time. It is super easy to whip up and kids love to eat it (and so do their parents). You can substitute the candy for whatever you prefer, I love Reese's Pieces, but M&M's could easily be used. She always used dry roasted peanuts, but I always have party peanuts on hand, so that's what I used.

Monster Munch

12 cups popped popcorn (this is about 1/2 cup unpopped kernels)
1 pound almond bark (many packages are 24oz, so watch closely or you could have too much)
1 cup candy corn
1 cup Reese's Pieces
1 cup peanuts

In a large bowl combine popcorn, candy corn, Reese's Pieces and peanuts.
Chop almond bark into smaller pieces and microwave until melted (one minute intervals; stirring in between)
Pour melted almond bark over the popcorn mixture.
Mix well.
Spread out onto waxed paper to harden.
Break into smaller pieces.
Store in an airtight container.
